SHUL is a new, non-denominational experiment in Jewish ritual and Shabbat celebration. Mingling together old and new spiritual practices, SHUL aims to create a Shabbat service that is accessible, embodied, and fervent. SHUL is prayer + dance, niggunim + bass = a Shabbat morning service that engages all our senses and all our limbs in prayer. Imagine ecstatic dance meets post-Hasidic Hasidim meets inclusive, egalitarian prayer.
