Description:

Diversity at Burning Man: Connecting to the Larger Global Community. Recently, Burning Man has been criticized for its homogeneous population and its increasing income disparity issue. Despite being widely recognized around the world by different ethnic groups, faiths, and sexualities, Burning Man struggles to achieve representative diversity. Disco Chateau celebrates diversity and would like to share inclusion practices that have worked for us, as well as welcome others from different camps to discuss what has worked for them. This talk will invite community leaders to discuss Default World and On Playa empowerment, for a more diverse, inclusive and representative tomorrow.
